“The White House has begun the process of looking for a new secretary of defense, according to a U.S. official who was not authorized to speak publicly.”

Whether this is true or not no one should take the news organizations word at face value without receipts.

Hegseth should lose his job but the reality is that he might be even less crazy than whomever Trump nominates next. I’m totally ambivalent about him leaving unfortunately.

The only hope is that the GOP is starting to get antsy because of the absurd trade policies and will be too afraid to kick off another controversy. Maybe there’s a shot they will block some of the craziness this time, but it’s a long one.

    3. It goes without saying that the second Signalgate is likely the straw that broke the camel’s back here.

What comes next for the Pentagon is the big question. As is, they’re in a bit of a limbo, stuck between Pete’s destructive shifts in policy. At the very least, it definitely isn’t good for American military readiness.

Don’t get your hopes up, people. We all know they are gonna replace him with someone even more absurd. Hopefully someone who doesn’t look like they spend 30 minutes everyday combing his slicked back hair though.

And I bet the next guy would still leak sensitive info somewhere somehow.

It is gonna take time. You think it is easy to find utterly corrupt individuals that want nothign more than to enrich themselves and are willing to do whatever it takes? Hopefully the poor politically attacked and upright values guy, Hegseth, can get his position back at the bastion of truth ‚foxnews‘. Poor guy barely had enough time to set up his own grifts.
