Wir gehen viel zu Pairi Daiza und auf dem Weg dorthin gehen wir immer an diesem Ort vorbei. Es ist ein Zaun um das, was wie nichts oder vielleicht den Eingang zu einem unterirdischen Bunker aussieht. Es gibt einige Anzeichen dafür "Warnung: Militärzone" oder etwas. Ich habe versucht, in der Google Street zu schauen, aber diese Ecke scheint ein blinder Fleck zu sein, was mich noch neugieriger macht. Weiß die Einheimischen, was das ist? Ich bin noch faszinierter, weil es in der Nähe eine US -Armee -Basis gibt. 50.618100,3.892708 Koordinaten.

It is completely unrelated to the U.S. army base. After the crisis in the 80’s the Belgian government felt the need to stockpile on essentials. Hence, this is where the Belgian government keeps the strategic potato stockpile. For the many frituurs across the country.
I suppose these are old bunkers, maybe radar stuff. You aren’t very far from the Chièvres air base there.
That said, it does indeed look like nothing.

I think it might be part of the NATO pipeline system.
