Was denken Sie?
Was zum Teufel machen all diese Leute auf einer winzigen Insel wie Zypern überhaupt Multi -Millionäre? Hat jemand irgendwelche Innenseiten dazu?

Millionaire doesn’t mean they live in Cyprus or that they have 1 million in cash under their bed. I think it’s about right that 81000 people have total property worth over a million.
Cyprus is a known tax heaven, though 81000 seems a bit high for the island. Possibly some of those people have this 60-day residency in which they claim to be tax residents in Cyprus but actually live elsewhere.
If your yiayia has an old dilapidated house in some ‚river‘ village in Germasoya, she is counted as millonare.
Vinod Adani, and John Friedriksen are „Cypriot‘ billionaires.
They have likely never set foot in Cyprus but are technically „Cypriot“ billionaires. There’s a bunch more of them. They are just rich enough to be able to buy whatever passport they want.
There are probably shitloads of millionaires that supposedly are Cypriot, or live here but in reality they don’t.
Sure it’s true… millionaires do not always have millions in their accounts but that just means that their total amount of assets have a value that amounts to over €1,000,000. So if you own 2 houses in 2 average locations like one in Limassol and one in Nicosia, you may be a millionaire.
I am technically a millionaire, but I’m dirt poor due to my family’s inheritance being lost/unusable cause of the invasion, lol. I do think the information is inaccurate as hell, but I guess it’s possible for more people to be millionaires than you’d expect in Cyprus.
