This is the second school shooter this year I have read who has been motivated into action by their extremist white supremacist views. The first was the Antioch shooter, who frequented 4chan boards and released an entire manifesto before his crime. This trend of young men spurred into violence by their hatred for people of colour is extremely telling of our current political climate, and that reality is both tragic and terrifying.
Is anyone even surprised?
