    Neue Belgien -Staatsbürgerschaftsanforderungen? B2 Sprache, 1000 € Gebühr, mehr – Erläuterung benötigen


    Hey alle, alle,

    Ich habe gerade einen Artikel in den Brüsselzeiten über einige ziemlich bedeutende Änderungen des belgischen Bewerbungsprozesses gelesen. Nach dem Stück finden Sie hier die wichtigsten Updates:

    1. Bewerber benötigen jetzt Sprachkenntnisse auf B2 -Ebene

    2. Die Antragsgebühr wird auf 1000 € erhöht

    3. 5 Jahre ununterbrochener Arbeit in Belgien wird nicht mehr in Betracht gezogen, um die Integration zu beweisen – Sprachkenntnisse werden eine obligatorische Anforderung sein

    Ich hatte ein paar Fragen, von denen ich gehofft hatte, dass jemand hier möglicherweise mehr weiß:

    1. Wurde dies offiziell schon genehmigt?

    2. Wenn ja, wann würden diese Änderungen in Kraft treten? Ist es unmittelbar oder wird es eine Gnade Zeit geben?

    3. Werden diese Regeln im gesamten Land gelten oder könnten die Anforderungen je nach Region (Flandern, Brüssel, Wallonia) variieren?

    Ich würde gerne hören, ob jemand mehr Einblicke in das hat. Dank im Voraus!

      Nothing is official until it’s on the Belgian government website is usually my take. Unfortunately there are a million different government sites and some contradict each other. But I feel like that’s getting better.

      As far as I know this is only in the government formation agreement, but I assume a vote still needs to be held about it to pass. Otherwise there’d be more news about it.

      Hard to say at this point. Between a few months and 4 years.

      >Is it immediate or will there be a grace period?

      Once it is announced then there will be an official date as of when it will be in force. Likely it be be something like „people who applied after ___ will fall under this new system“.

      >Will these rules apply across the entire country, or could the requirements vary by region (Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia)?

      Federal government, federal matter. Regions have no say on this matter.

      >Applicants will now need B2 level language proficiency

      Btw, the agreement says B1 not B2.
