You have to be a total idiot to think Azerbaijan at any point in time over the last 40 years was ever interested in peaceful coexistence with Armenians. The first conflict was their attempt at wiping us out completely and the second conflict was their chance at a redo.

Their entire idiology is based on the Armenian cities being Azerbajdzjan cities because some Iranian King ruled over them 200 years ago. They don’t care who came first or who is the owner of the land. That’s why they don’t care if Artsakh people existed in the ancient times. Once an Islamic ruler rules over a land, they’ll assume it is theirs.
