I don’t think the big parties will let him get a nomination.
I actually have a question regarding this and sorry for hijacking the thread.
If Odysseas is found guilty of the charges against him, will this be enough to ban him from participating in the elections since he will not have a clean police record anymore?
It is very likely he will run and if he does he has a very good chance of getting elected.
Unlikely but not impossible.
He won’t get party backing, so unlikely he will make it to the second round.
But in the outside chance he gets through to the second round, he may get the support of some parties. It would really depend on who the other candidates are and what the election is about.

From what I understood, the only reason people voted Christodoulidis was because he was „independent“ and because I think most Cypriots had enough from most cypriot political parties!
Same/Similar with Fidias.
Ok they were both bad choices, that got elected mostly due to PR and Social Media promising change!
Now, regarding Odysseas, considering other possible choices that exist… I would vote him and try our luck!
