Es ist derzeit 1:22 Uhr und dieser Typ arbeitet seit 30 Minuten hier. Es ist super laut und inzwischen bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass er mindestens die Hälfte der Leute, die hier leben, aufgewacht ist. Ich bin froh, dass ich noch nicht schlafe, das hätte mich definitiv aufgeweckt. Ist das normal? Ist das überhaupt erlaubt?

I don’t know about the rules, but I’ve also seen them do this in the night – I guess it’s nice and calm on the road, no traffic, so easy cleanup!
It’s allowed. Maintenance type of work doesn’t require any special permission to be done at night. Usually that type of work is done at night only if the street is too busy at daytime though.
They had special rule to work through night in Mechelininkatu twice a week.
