Die Zahlen stammen aus dem Welt -Hapiness -Bericht 2025. Warum ist Aserbaidschan Ihrer Meinung nach wenig Hapiness? Ich hätte gedacht, dass es im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Ländern der Region viel höher sein sollte.

What are the factors contributing to happiness?
Looks less about economic issues since comparatively poorer and richer regions above median are a lot happier. Could be because of a significant loss of middle class – I’d assume it’s a concern for all regions around 5 point score, so people who went from middle class to lower class may be voicing their unhappiness.
(not counting Yemen and Afghanistan due to perpetual war on this map and Iran/Syria as a problem hotbed)
This is what happens when you live in an isolated fiefdom with no rights or opportunities. Yet Azerbaijanis are starving cowards who would prefer to die in a war than speak out against the regime.

many afghans live in iran, half my neighbors are afghan refugee’s, they are happy af
the more uneducated you are the happier you live
and iran with its 5.1, well the most popular music is pain music, we have „pain rap“ on the top(invented by iranians) and most other people listen to dislove music and tradition music with rather sad text, only a fraction of people are happy, yet we are one of the „happiest countries“ in this map
my saying is its combination of some life factors which really dont have to do with how happy you are

I can list all the reasons why we are not happy but if I do that im gonna end up in prison
So many things like war, low income, dictatorship, corruption, few job opportunities; not a main factor but I think that extreme homophobia is also a thing. And also affects of being post-Soviet country; yk all of those countries are in type of depression

Azerbaijan has a similar regime system to Iran. Iranian regime hides behind religion and Azerbaijani regime hides behind nationalism. Azerbaijani dictator is one of the most corrupt person in the world
Oh, so many reasons. In my eyes, Azerbaijan is a sinking ship. I can’t see a future there, if open-minded minority won’t do anything in next 5 years.
This happiness stuff is mostly bullshit. How they gon measure it? Ask everyone if they happy or not? This stuff is not accurate at all.
Who said these numbers are valid? Lets draw some random numbers and debate over it 🤷♂️
