Eine Schließung der Botschaft würde wahrscheinlich sehen, wie Aktivitäten nach Brüssel wechseln, wo in vielen anderen Ländern ihre Botschaften nach Belgien, Luxemburg und der EU veranstaltet werden.

Sucks for any Us citizen who needs consular services but on the other hand… elections have consequences. Fuck the orange turd, his supporters and anything this administration is standing for.
One could still have a consular office in Luxembourg, attached to the Brussels embassy. Saves the cost of having a head of consular mission in Luxembourg, while a 2-3 person team can run the merely consular show.
