Submission statement: what do you think will happen once AIs are allowed to replicate and survive in the wild?
Should AI companies allow this to happen? Should we try to regulate this now, before it happens?
AIs aren’t limited by biological reproduction rates. Will there be an AI population explosion once this happens?
How close do you think we are to this already? Do you think AIs could already self-replicate and survive in the wild if allowed to do so?
I don’t know what will happen if that plays out, but I have a feeling I know what the world will look like after it does (Horizon Zero Dawn).
