I had very different expectations… there’s a region in Shirak with a growth in population?! And besides Aparan (I think?) those are some random areas of Aragatsotn to have a population growth. I don’t think we ever hear much from these areas at all.

It seems like centralizing all the universities into one “ Academic City“ [outside Yerevan mind you] is only going to make this worse…

Enough is enough! My country Turkey should help our Armenian neighbors. The two countries can prepare joint projects to make Armenia a more attractive place for the Armenian diaspora and collaborate to develop initiatives aimed at increasing fertility rates in both nations. What we need is European solidarity. I hope for a European future for Turkey, Armenia, and other Caucasian countries. Canada should also be allowed to join, but that’s just my personal opinion.

    4. 2022 census did 1. Not record the immigration of Russians and the increased immigration of Indians we saw, especially in 2023. 2. Artsakhs expulsion is also not taken into account. If we combine both factors, you’d have more regions in green or in darker shades of green. Hrazdan for instance has grown by 2.5% since the 2022 census. Masis population, and generally towns south of Yerevan have seen an increase in their population as well.

Obviously regarding Russians and Indians, most of that is concentrated through the Yerevan metro but there is now a notable community of Indians in Gyumri as well and in Kapan too, albeit not as big.

OMG, I’ve just noticed that Armenia looks like a woman facing Turkey, and now I can’t unsee it! It’s so obvious with her long hair flowing towards the east.

Armenian diaspora, which the Turkish territory’s government is attempting to manipulate, has its roots in western Armenia where we were exiled, assimilated and destroyed from.
