What would turkey need the f35s for they basically can manufacture anything f16 needs on their own they also manufacture drones and as we ve seen lately quite good ones. What advantage does the f35s have for greece? It’s an endless money pit maintenance and parts and ammo it’s super expensive. It’s only operational if the US oks it they basically have an off switch. Greece can’t produce ammo or parts for them so they re only useful for a short engagement. Greece’s once mighty navy is shit now with a bunch of shitty purchases with people quitting left and right. But but they will get f35. F35 is only useful for when / if the US asks Greece to use them for their purposes and operations that suit their interests not Greece’s defense. But they serve nice lip service that the US is behind Greece. LOL
People don’t understand how big of a deal f35 is. Turkey literally does not have anything that can counter an f35. God forbid in a war between Greece and Turkey, Greece can easily bomb the shit out of any S400 or anything similar to it.
Belgians are looking a way to refund f35. They dont want Trump to cripple them whenever he wants. Today. Greece is the friend. But tomorrow. That can (and looks like it will) change.
İ think we should stop being enemies and be together for the Western/eastern pressures. We fed them enough.

What Greece needs are three—no more—ASMP nuclear air-to-surface missiles that we can strap to our Rafales: one for Istanbul, one for Izmir, and one for Ankara as a deterrent. That way, there will be eternal peace between the two nations. I hope the Franco-Greek mutual defense pact and the new E.U. rearmament initiative will make this a reality.
