It’s so easy just like his Hyperloop. Yeah like air hockey in a vacuum tube. So easy.
Starship as a landing / ascent vehicle on Mars has never made sense. It’s dragging around orbital cargo hauler bloat when that has *major* energy consequences both in what you have to slow down and, more dauntingly, launch back. Every gram has a cost and this is random dozens of tons.
At least he’s trying. People constantly focused on what we can’t do rather than how we can.
