Crossing into the territory with all of these threats at all of these countries that the US will begin to be sanctioned by the rest of the world….

There’s nothing he will say that won’t be normalized by American media.

They are powerless to shame or call this out, toothless in their relationship

      They want a mad king

There is only one way, you complete ignoramus–a Constitutional amendment to repeal that part of the 22nd.

That is all. Nothing else would satisfy „there are ways,“ in any reality.

Besides, Trump likely won’t live long enough to see a third term.

    4. I don’t think he’s bold enough to actually run again – without a constitutional amendment, he wouldn’t have the EC votes because states would leave him off of the ballot. Some GOP states might press ahead and do so anyway, but they’d be sued into oblivion and the optics would be terrible.

Rather, it would not surprise me if he either ran as Vance’s VP in ‘28, or if the House GOP cooked up some scheme to get him elected to Speaker of the House. The language of the Constitution says he can’t be elected to the office of the Presidency more than twice, but he could easily be a part of some GOP ticket that winks and nods to him having total authority not dissimilar from what Medvedev and Putin did in Russia.

But he’ll be approaching 83 years old, and presidential favorability is usually never as high as when you first get elected, so a geriatric Trump trying to be President for a third time through dubious means probably wouldn’t play super well with the average voter.

Unless he has discovered a cure for aging I don’t see how he would do it

Even if there are attempts to alter the constitution in his favour to run again, the man is almost 80 and will be oldest President in history if he tries to mount another campaign. Time is not on his side, and even if he somehow remains loud and obnoxious, his health will be in decline just from existing for so long.

I think more about who could speak up and try to succeed him in his legacy from the MAGA camp. I wonder as a result if his insistence on continuing versus those who would try to succeed him will cause infighting that the Democrats can use to their advantage, especially if the economy does enter a recession or if inflation skyrockets. He has a lot of issues of his own making I think he’ll have to address well before he even considers attempting a third term.

    7. Again, while I’m sure he’d love to run again, I think this is just another example of how he never ever lets himself get pinned down.

I mean, if it’s obviously raining outside and you ask him if it is, he’d answer – could be, a lot of bigly people have been saying it is!

And he just has to keep the option out there, so his cult thinks it is possible and stands by him. He knows his cult eats this stuff up.
