Ich kann nicht auf die meisten (wenn nicht alle) Artikel zugreifen, wenn ich angemeldet bin. Ich müsste sich im Incognito -Modus anmelden oder darauf zugreifen, um den Artikel lesen zu können. Aber dann werde ich die Kommentare nicht sehen können, wenn ich nicht angemeldet bin. Sehr frustrierend und ziemlich dumm, um ehrlich zu sein. Ich werde wahrscheinlich zu einem anderen Nachrichtenportal wechseln.

Use ublock origins and block the element. Easy
Getting this. There’s no way i’m going to pay for another subscription.
So embarrassing for the Anti-Maltese propaganda arm of the PN to do this. We know they’re broke but still.
They’re also blocking unauthenticated users from accessing certain articles.
It’s inconsistent (the issue disappears on a refresh), but I’ve been blocked from reading some articles unless I log in.
Blocking Javascript seems to be a good workaround
Seems that I can access most articles again now….don’t know what’s happening.
Oh… so they’re trying this again! If I remember well they tried this approach some years back, saw their traffic plummet after a month or so, panicked and reversed course.
They announced this quietly last week – now you will need to pay €9.99 to read more than 20 articles per month.
Pretty sad but it is what it is.
I will definitely not subscribe to ToM. I’ll just move to Newsbook or The Independent.

A year ago, I decided to do my second-year high school research project on the history of Malta, and I need a practical part of it, so I decided to contact you.
