I am so fucking tired of people bringing up kessler syndrome. You people seem to think LEO is the size of a warehouse or something instead of it being several times greater in size than the earth itself. We could put millions of satellites up and it still wouldn’t be crowded. Also nearly all objects in LEO are close enough to earth for drag to be enough of an issue that station keeping is necessary to prevent them from falling into the atmosphere so any debris would end up falling back down within a couple years at most anyway.
