Ich schaudere darüber nach, wie viel schlimmere Dinge werden können, und die Kürzungen, die angekündigt werden. Vor kurzem gab es Neuigkeiten, dass viele Gemeinden in diesem Jahr bereits massive Entlassungen ausgesetzt sind und ein schweres Defizit haben. Die Arbeitslosigkeit ist in die Höhe geschossen, was das soziale System nur mehr belastet. Und inmitten all dessen scheint die Regierung nicht über etwas zu sprechen, das konkret ist, um diese Probleme zu lösen und zu beheben, als mehr Kürzungen anzukündigen.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wird es immer schwieriger, sich über die Zukunft des Wohlfahrtsstaates zu hoffnungsvoller zu ertragen.
Ich denke, alles was wir tun können, ist mit Bedacht bei den kommenden Kommunalwahlen abzustimmen.

Just for context, this Gov’t is supporting *private* healthcare to the tune of 500 million € and the fur trade with 50 million €, whilst cutting at least 170 million € from the public healthcare & social services sector. And this bucket of cunts, knuckledragging fuckduggery-perpetrating shitbungler still has the audacity to say that these cuts aren’t ideologically motivated.

Just an open question, is sending hundreds of millions of euros aid to Ukraine worth it? that money could have been spent on the general public welfare or investments to ease down unemployment!!?
I understand the part that Finland has some strategic benefits as well to help Ukraine and to send a message to Russia.
question as foreigner, are these funding cuts data-driven or just out-of-nowhere? because from what I know in my field, FCAI cuts PhD from 4y to 3y, but actually it does not make sense because either people cannot finish on time, or actually they started before first commencement year. enlightenment please
