As a Turk, I would like to see Armenia accepted into the European Union. Whether it happens before or after Turkish accession doesn’t matter to me. With Armenia’s EU accession, Turkey’s eastern border will be more secure, and Armenia will hopefully become a more stable and democratic country. This will also improve the EU membership prospects of other countries in the region including my own.
