Yeah, they stand with belarusians, but just on words. Very concerned about the whole situation( for more than 15 years now, so, not so much, it looks like). Not really caring about belarusians. It’s very easy to agitate people to act from a safe distance of a couple borders, knowing you won’t have any repercussions at all.
Сначала РФ назначает Беларусь своим союзником и «другом» против воли ее граждан. Потом называет этих граждан, продолжающих активно сопротивляться, предателями – ведь дружба же!
I have faith the Belorussian people will be free from the broken hammer and sickle.
If anything now is the time, where the west and Ukraine can support such freedom. The ladder is Putin ushering Belorussians into Ukraine to only be denazified and most likely on video.
I’m not pro-Russian in any way or form, but we all know what the reality would be if Belarus manages to become more democratic.
All I would say is remember what Trump has done to Zelensky. If you think we in the West would give you an easy ride just because you want to become more democratic then you are completely naive.
You’ll just end up being an American or European puppet.
Yes you’ll have more democratic freedoms but at the cost of being a puppet state.
