      The fact that Mozambique and Gabon joined while having almost no historical, cultural or political ties to the UK or the Anglosphere shows how irrelevant the organisation is. Aside from participating in the Commonwealth games, naming embassies “High Commissions” and letting people from those member states to vote in British elections if they’re legally living there, it barely has any real significance, its membership is largely symbolic.

      This would be unironically incredible and while not all Commonwealth Nations have Charles III as Head of State and the U.S. would certainly not even if it joined fully it’s still wild that this future is remotely possible.

      So this entire Newsweek article is based on Trump reposting an article from *The Sun* which is the mum of all tabloids (if you will) with the comment „I Love King Charles. Sounds good to me!“
