The Central Tibetan Administration held an event in Dharamsala, attended by former Slovakian President Andrej Kiska and Estonian MP Juku-Kalle Raid. The Dalai Lama reflected on his 1959 escape, expressing sorrow for Tibet’s occupation but pride in its resilience. In Europe, over 3,000 protesters gathered in The Hague, where actor Richard Gere and former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom voiced support. Meanwhile, in Tibet, Chinese authorities tightened security in Lhasa, deploying police and military patrols to suppress potential dissent.
