Note I do suspect it’s been rigged wrong here and must be a lugsail.

It’s certainly similar to a faering. There are so many regional differences it’s hard to be sure which one. I would suggest contacting [https://fartoyvern.no/](https://fartoyvern.no/) to get their opinion.
The ad says it was made just north of Stavanger, so probably a type typical to there or the Haugesund area. I don’t have anything about that area at home, but I should have access to something relevant next week.
