The math is a little more even if you consider military assistance.
Frankly, given that this war is at Europe’s doorstep, I’m surprised the overall tally to date is so close between the US and Europe.
Europe as a whole spent even more on Russian oil and gas in that same period! Aiding both sides is a historic endeavour…
Are you trying to say that President Donald Trump is lying to people of America?!
That can’t be! He is the most honest and greatest president there ever was…
A was is on Europe’s doorstep and they still managed to barely outspend the US. This is at least an improvement though.
Truly unremarkable difference considering the proximity of the two continents to Ukraine. You would think Europe would have contributed at least twice what the US did since it’s their own immediate safety on the line
But here we see UK trying to disinform the world about the issue, by making this non-nuanced statement as though both continents have equal skin in the game, which was never true
So…1 country that’s not even on the same continent contributed almost as much to the war than the 27 countries next door.
Thanks for clarifying.
They won’t even give them frozen Russian assets but wants the US to continue while people in flint Michigan still bath with bottled water Europeans always like the lecture to Americans but can’t even agree to give Russian assets to Ukraine
Wow, so much change in US geopolitics.
Everyone used to be against the evil dictators of the world, the war criminals, those who assassinate and poison other countries, and tried to rig elections in their own interests. Allies stood shoulder to shoulder, towards liberal democracy with human rights and scientific progress.
Now it’s a political football in US politics.
Actually, Europe’s total aid to Ukraine is negative. They spent over 200 billion in purchases of Russian fossil fuels since Feb 2022 till today, thereby benefiting Russia more than Ukraine.
The math is a little more ***NOT*** even if you consider military assistance.
Frankly, given that this war is against ***USA’s No1 Enemy*** , I’m surprised the overall tally to date is so close between the US and Europe.
