Innovation in crime may be outpacing traditional border security efforts. Former CSIS intelligence officer Michel Juneau-Katsuya argues that Canada’s current $1.3 billion border security plan, which focuses heavily on physical borders, misses the mark in combating the high-tech methods crime groups are using to bypass them.

What could future solutions look like?

my grandparents used to like by the wayer in Cornwall ont.

they had bullets hit their apartment walls because thre were people running guns/drugs back and forth in zodiacs and they’d get into shoot outs.

the canadian criminals seem to be able to cross the border unrestricted, maybe close that loophole
