Ich habe gerade herausgefunden, dass der oberste der belgische Sockel ist. Der untere ist der deutsche.

Sie verkaufen beide in der Aktion. Etwas, auf das ich denke, denke ich …

    Weiß jemand mehr darüber?

    1. Electric plug types are labeled A to J

In EU countries you can find:
      * type E eg in Belgium
      * type F eg in Germany
      * type C (it’s like a type E or F but without grounding pins)
      * type K eg in Denmark
      * type G eg in Ireland and Malta (and UK but it’s no longer EU)

      Electricity invention: 1879
      EEC: 1957

EU did not impose à plug format, but they imposed 230V 50Hz nominal current in all member states in 1986.

    2. Funny story. When we bought our house, the electricity did not conform to the rules because the kitchen had electric sockets of the wrong type because the kitchen was bought from the Netherlands.

The electrician said that he sees no issue in that as the sockets are grounded anyways, but will temporarily remove the socket to pass inspection. Next day I had them installed back. Belgium….

Newer appliances should fit in both. The “continental plugs” with edge-ground usually have a hole for the pin-ground. This has been the case for a few years.

The bottom socket is the universal Schuko.

The top „France“ socket is invented because of licensing issues with Schuko.

Schuko plugs will not work in the „France“ socket, but „France“ plugs will work in Schuko sockets.

Belgian store ? not sure if the bottom one is ok with insurance here , ask an elektrician

    6. The bottom one is actually not legal (also in case of fire/insurance) in belgium and may not be sold. However the round plugs that fit in the these type of sockets usually support both types of earth connection, so from technical point of view they are both good.

This is actually something EU should consider. But what is The best plug?
