Ich suche nach alten, lokalen Pubs in Malta, in denen sich Einheimische versammeln – keine Lust oder zu touristische Orte, aber informelle Orte mit einer loyalen Menge, an denen Menschen kommen, um sich zu entspannen, zu plaudern und etwas zu trinken. Im Idealfall ist ein Ort mit Innenräumen, die seit Jahren unverändert geblieben sind. Existieren solche Orte noch auf Malta, und können Sie einige empfehlen?

Grasshopper bar is NOT in balzan. It’s in Lija. It’s the number one way to offend the Lijani. Know your Maltese villages!
100% Le Maltais is St-Paul’s Bay, an old mustached man is the owner and only employee. He chills with the locals at a table and comes to the bar only when someone walks in. The drinks are super cheap, and you get free snacks like cheese and crackers. We stayed a couple hours, played cards and got 2 beers, 2 cocktails, bugles and cheese for 12€. We tipped generously and left enchanted by the place!
