Der US -Präsident erpresst Europa: Kein Deal!

Yes, blackmail. You read that right. Trump not only gave in to all of Russia’s demands without any conditions in return, he now started blackmailing the EU.

**We are to accept an unconditional surrender** of Ukraine **within 3 weeks**, or **else all US troops will be pulled** from the continent.

Yesterday, a Finnish member of the European Parliament and former head of the Finnish Institute for Foreign Relations, Mika Aaltola, posted the following:

“The United States has given us three weeks to agree on terms for Ukraine’s surrender. If we don’t the United States will withdraw from Europe. Trump is prioritizing Russia’s security concerns now and in the future.”

**As a kid, I was taught: If you make a mistake, you own up to it.**

It’s now on us Europeans to prove that we have a backbone and that we do not give in to blackmail. We must not accept this deal, as it will certainly lead to the next, bigger war within the next few years and own up to the political failings of the last few decades. We must be steadfast, prepare, and not let a bully dictate the way we live.

So, my call-to-action:

**Write mails, letters, smoke signals or carrier pigeons to your local and federal representatives.**

**They must not accept this deal and promote European unity instead.**
