    Ich habe einen 4K -Remaster des ursprünglichen Kosmos gemacht – eine persönliche Reise von Carl Sagan


    Vor ein paar Tagen machte ich mich auf den Weg, um die höchste Version von Carl Sagan zu finden Kosmos: eine persönliche Reise. Nachdem ich gekämpft hatte, eine remasterte Version zu finden, beschloss ich, die erste Folge selbst Remaster zu remaster.

    Es war nicht nur darum, die Grafik zu verbessern. Es ging darum, die Integrität der ursprünglichen Arbeit zu bewahren und gleichzeitig die unglaubliche Fortschrittswissenschaft zu zeigen, die Wissenschaft in den letzten 45 Jahren gemacht hat.

    Was ich verändert habe:

    • Es wurden keine Szenen mit Carl Sagan verändert.
    • Das Tempo und die Erzählung bleiben unberührt.
    • Alle computergenerierten Szenen wurden durch echte Daten und Bilder aus offiziellen Quellen wie NASA, ESA und ISRO ersetzt.
    • Zusätzliche Grafiken wurden mit dem Space -Simulation -Tool SpaceEngine erstellt.

    Was ich vermieden habe:

    • Kein AI-generierter Inhalt.
    • Kein Aktienmaterial.

    Jede ersetzte Szene wird ihrer Quelle in der unteren linken Ecke zugeschrieben, um Transparenz und Respekt vor dem Originalmaterial zu gewährleisten.

    Dieses Projekt ist meine Hommage an Carl Sagans Vermächtnis und eine Reflexion darüber, wie weit die Astronomie seitdem gekommen ist Kosmos zuerst ausgestrahlt. Ich hoffe, dieser Remaster kann die nächste Generation von Wissenschaftlern, Träumern und Entdeckern inspirieren – genau wie Kosmos inspirierte mich.

    Mir ist nicht bekannt, ob ich Links im Beitrag für das Video teilen kann, aber ich bin bereit, die Links in DM zu teilen, bevor das Mod -Team genehmigt.

      What did you do with the Milky Way image by Adolf Schaller? This was a drawing of the Milky Way as seen from a planet in one of the Magellanic Clouds, in both the series and the book. It was gorgeous, but low-res. I contacted Schaller about it once, and he didn’t even have access to provide a high-resolution version.

      I’ve never seen the original. How does it fare today? Curious what information would be considered wrong/out of date today.

      2nd Edit: Wow that was amazing. Watched on my 4k TV. Carl Sagan is such a treasure. Loved the updated imagery you inserted while still preserving Carl 💜.

      I’ve not watched the whole thing, but there’s a section where Sagan’s talking about globular clusters (around 12m in) and the images are the Hubble „Pillars of Creation“ images, which are nothing like globular clusters. The original showed nicely the way globular clusters relate to galaxies, and how they form is still „poorly understood“ [wikipedia], so its a shame you’ve edited this out.
