    1. In the store like 1.50€ including deposit
In a bar something between 3€ and 6€

In my opinion the best major beer we have.

    2. Yeah, that’s generally considered a good beer in Germany. Price depends strongly on where exactly you buy it.

    3. In Munich its somewhere between 4.50 to 5 € in most pubs nowadays. So I’d say 6.50 in Ireland isn’t bad

Source: Just coming out of a pub in Munich where I paid 4.70 €

    4. Can’t speak for the quality as I’m not really a beer drinker, but I believe it’s around 1.90€ per bottle at most supermarkets. A 20-bottle case would probably cost around 22€ + Pfand.

I work in a bar! We don’t have Augustiner, but our wheat beer goes for 6€ / 0,5L. Our other beers also go for 5,50€-6,00€.

6,50€ does seem a little high, but on the other hand alcohol in Ireland is expensive in general, no?

    6. It is actually not that popular if you are not from Berlin/Munich. But it is really good.
Price seems okay for a pub.

    7. I never saw this in a pub in Germany but in my local supermarket it costs around 1 euro.

    8. O’Briens off-licence will sell you this and other “helles” for around 2,50€ – German hear living in Ireland, not enjoying Irish beer other than Guinness too much

    9. This was my favorite beer. I paid $7 (without pfand)a case for it on base in 2005.

Just checked it on the website of REWE. 22€ for a „Kasten“ of 20 bottles. So 1,10€ for a bottle. But if it’s on sale, you can obviously get it way cheaper.

6.50€ for a beer in a bar would need to be an extremely fancy bar in Germany. I, so far, have never paid more than 5.50€ for a beer.

In store, it less than 1 €, exact prices depend on where you buy it and which quarter of the beer they sell is currently on sale.
In bars, the prices for such and better beer range from 3€ in bars you don’t want to enter sober to about 5-6€ now.
