    1. It means you pay Maltese prices, so Covid, inflation, island affect markup 😉

      Lidl Malta just made an agreement with local farmers to sell their produce. So the flag should mean it’s from Malta I guess. Also the packaging should say something about locally sourced too.

      It refers to Maltese agricultural produce. That will be the stuff in the beige boxes with the words ‘Prodott ta’ Malta’. So in the pic it is the stuff at the back not the carrots at the front.

      They left out the green section on the left…. I can see why it is confusing! Did you buy? Its a pretty good price compared to where I live!

    6. Unfortunately they are going to be selling Maltese vegetables in Lidl now. One of the only reasons I go to Lidl is to get Italian fruit and veg. Malta has the highest rate of pesticides in Europe in their products.
