    1. I think I’m going to organise a protest against all these protest. It’s getting ridiculous.

    4. I would love to see them make their case using the numbers. But they won’t do that because they work against them.

All they can screech is breach of contract, etc. But the contract was just shit to start with, and it’s not an illegal breach of contract. Otherwise, they would be in court instead of on the streets.

This leftist voter since 2003 went to work to make sure we don’t make the crisis even bigger then it already is and to respect the people that voted for this policy even if I don’t agree with it.

I am actually curious how much of these people on strike voted for a right wing policy last time and will do so again.

    7. No. I’ve been in protest in the past but these days it’s usually ridiculous. You can protest if you have concrete, realistic proposal of what you want (or don’t want). Protesting because the whole world is in economic shit is pretty meaningless.

Yes, nice march even if it was cold. Lot’s of people too, with different revendications.

For me it’s the pensioen for civil servant. We don’t have groep-pensioen, I understand that we had to make some arrangements on the current situation but calculation on 40 years careers makes it less interesting than many private job we could have chosen.

You don’t want the public sector to be a third choice for people, or you will get only the less motivated and talented people.

I can tottaly understand why civil servants would protest. The government agreeis going to be awfull for them and many other public organisations.

However what I don’t understand is leftist protesting against the Arizona government as a whole saying they „don’t want it“.

Flash news for you, the left outside of Vooruit barely accounts for 25% of seats in the Federal Parliament. The rest of the opposition is center right or far right. All the parties composing the Arizona represents the trends in BOTH linguistinc regions of the country. This government for once reflect the clear will that came out of the Jun 2024 elections. It’s majority of belgians weither French speaking or Dutch speaking. What I just see in those people is tankies and socialist throwing a tantrum because democracy didn’t go their way.
