Grama fand eine alte Tasse in der Garage, aber der Große Grampa war hartnäckig, dass er seinen Söhnen als Einwanderer nicht Deutsch beigebracht hatte, also kann mein Grampa nicht sagen, was es sagt.

I can’t make any sense of it. Doesn’t look German to me, nor remotely like any other language I know.
Edit: I correct myself, on the second picture the second word reads „wenn“ meaning „when“
Sounds kinda Nordic to me
