      I see why True Weatlh would do a survey like this. They recently launched child accounts,’so this is probably another data point they would use to advertise those.

    3. Interesting, I just made a TrueWealth account for my 1-year old the other day. I agree with the article, it seems like a good idea for the next 20 or so years to invest in ETFs considering the compounding aspect.

    6. I have a second IBKR account for my child that I use to buy ETF whenever there is cash as a gift.

      The grandparents however opened a savings account on his name where they want to put some money yearly. They don’t like „investment stuff“ so it’s gonna be difficult to convince them to invest in an ETF instead of leaving the money in a savings account

      The Swiss are very trusting of „the system“ here. Unsurprisingly in some ways given the success of the country.
