    Hat jemand UMK gesehen, und war das das schlimmste Umk aller Zeiten oder was war man?

      I watched it and it felt like they had some sort of budget cut because the shows we’re a bit lame.

      I thought it was a lot better than last year (maybe not the staging, but the performances) but it’s hard to do better than 2023.

      There’s definitely been worse, this one was fine I guess. Erika is a household name and is a great performer, but I just don’t like the song and performance of Ich Komme.

      If we were going to send Erika Vikman anyway as the fans clearly voted for her, then we should have just done the Saara Aalto UMK thing where she performs multiple new songs and we vote on those.

      UMK and the Nokia Arena looked great though and production was nice. I think one artist having to drop out probably made them stretch the pre-interview sections longer to kill time which may have also made it feel worse to some people.

      I personally really liked Nelli’s song and performance the most, but would have been pretty much okay with sending anything other than Neea and Erika

      Sound mixing was awful and overall imo every song except Erika’s was basic radio songs. Nothing stood out that much as previous years

      Don’t forget that we had UMKs with just 3 weak Darude and Saara Aalto songs. As tv entertainment the 2020s UMK is great.
