      Yup, I’d see it that way being away from my family and loved ones for months on end too.

      How does pay work in this kind of situation?

      Does being up there and effectively being asked to work outside of agreed timeframes count as overtime?
      Are they effectively just banking hours for some kind of TOIL?
      Or is it just considered ’normal‘ and just get hrs Asif they had agreed to the extended stay?

    6. The concern and hand wringing from people about them being *stuck* in space makes me think people don’t really get what astronauts are made of or looked at their CVs.
