Hallo Leute, nur MT wollte fragen, ob es ein normales Verfahren ist, um mehr Nebenkosten beim Ausziehen zu fragen? Zum ersten Mal hatten wir so etwas und es macht keinen Sinn für mich. Wir haben unsere Nebenkosten monatlich gezahlt.

What you pay monthly is an estimated amount. Every end of the year (or in your case, when you moved out) the real costs are calculated, the amount you already paid is subtracted, and you’re billed for the difference. Whether the amounts are realistic I can’t judge, but the procedure seems normal.
Idk. Yes, you are paying akonto for Nebenkosten but this gives me some off-vibes, I’ve never gotten something like this when I moved out.

– Allgemein Strom (normally you pay Strom directly)
– The Abrechnungsperiode starts before your contract. AfaIk you don’t have to pay for stuff that happened before you moved in.
This sounds fishy. Go ask your Rechtschutz about this …
