I don’t think I have a favorite one, but my least favorite is Sörnäinen because it feels dark and claustrophobic inside

Lauttasaari and Otaniemi are good and well-planned modern stations. Kalasatama is also ok with a fast entry/exit and good connections.
I also like Kaisaniemi due its general appearance and design from the 90s.

The worst is Tapiola due to its needless complexity and enormous size.

    3. Favorite is Itäkeskus because it reminds me of home.

Least favorite is probably Aalto because it feels like escalator hell.

Favorites would be Hakaniemi or Rautatieasema. Least favorite Kontula based on just a couple of visits because of the amount of drug users and violent-looking people, and from what I’ve heard it’s unsafe in the nighttime.

    5. Kontula is the worst because renovations aren’t completed. Itis and Herttoniemi are in dire need of renovation.

Favourites? All Länsimetro stations, except dishonourable mention for Tapiola being so confusing

I live in kontula due to my university being next station. I’d say I have never seen anything ‚unsafe‘ there. But ya, the station is not nice at all, cause they were renovating it but couldn’t finish before summer ended

    7. My least favorite among those I’ve been to is Tapiola. The station is a complete maze for no reason and it takes forever to get out.

The ones with quick and convenient exits like Vuosaari and Herttoniemi (though in urgent need of renovation). I also like the architecture of Otaniemi.
Least faves are Tapiola, for it being impossible to navigate, and Rautatientori just because it’s stupid that it only has one exit and gets needlessly crowded.

Least favourites are itäkeskus and everything east from there. They are really ugly and dirty looking.

My favourite of the ones in Helsinki is Kamppi as it is super straight forward, bright and airy.

My overall favourite is Kivenlahti as I really like the art installation and the dark coloring giving it nice contrast.

I haven’t spent enough time in Helsinki to choose a favourite but I hate Tapiola, it’s so confusing and for what reason?

Most probably Keilaniemi or Otaniemi and least definitely Sörnäinen

    12. Urheilupuisto mostly for nostalgic reasons since I lived near there for a while. The station’s modern if not unremarkable, and doesn’t have many facilities other than an S-Market, an Alepa outside the building, plus some small cafes and restaurants.

Its defining trait is a tilted glass box as its entrance, and whenever I look up as I take the escalator upwards, the wide open sight of the ceiling makes me feel agoraphobic 😅

I like the blue one, because it matches my outfit

Kamppi and Rautatieasema because of their location, connection options, simple design, and how easy it is to pop into a grocery store before heading down.

Tapiola is just dumb as you have to walk for miles to get to the metro. Sörnäinen stinks of puke or some kind of sewage half the time.

I go to Helsinki a few times per year for work, I use the metro but not enough to have an opinion on the actual stations. However, I’m Swedish and some of the names in Swedish sound very „romantic“ for lack of a better word. My favorite ones are Gräsviken and Björkholmen.
