SS: Israel’s Iron Beam laser air defense system is set to become operational in late 2025.

The system, developed by Rafael and Elbit Systems under the Ministry of Defense, is a high-power 100-kilowatt laser designed to intercept aerial threats like rockets, drones, and missiles.

Iron Beam will complement Iron Dome, offering cost-effective interceptions—potentially just a few dollars compared to Iron Dome’s $30,000 per interception.

      Game changer or over-hyped?

Hm that system will change the battlefield

Using 1$ to shoot down missile drones and such also no need to reload ammunition like in the iron dome
