Western Armenians often use ‚Fıstık‘ as ֆստըխ. We use this word at home along with ընկոյզ
No, only կազմ for „envelope“, so with a completely different meaning.
Nalband is actually from Persian it means horshoe or blacksmith
only pstik with pokrik interchangeably , I knew 6 7 of these weres, and that they were of perso arabic origin, the rest, did not know.
*Fıstık* is from Persian/Arabic, I believe.
My family (Western Armenian) use *mașa* for clothes pegs or kitchen prongs, but I’ve heard it used for a hair claw too by others. I doubt it comes from Armenian, though.
We also use *șis* too, but I don’t think it’s from Armenian either, rather the other way around.
I personally don’t know the rest of the words on the list.
I use Shish kebab or shashlyk ( Russian for kebab)
I know meydan as a square or place or gathering but I don’t think Armenians in Armenia at least use it in day to day speech
