New car sales are more or less only EVs, like 95%. But there are still more ICE cars on the road and there are still a decent used car marked for them. So a full transition is not going to happen anytime soon, I think.

    2. my 1960s massey ferguson will outlive me. 100% electric will never happen. atleast 10% of all road legal vehicles will likely still be combustion for the next 50 years. 100% renewable for new car sales i think could happen within 10 years tho. with porches developent is co2 based gasoline alternatives it might even reach 100% renewable sooner since ICE vehicles would then also be climate neutral

I’d rather not. Waiting another 1-3 hours for a charge while on a trip would make me go insane.

All the northerners with a 8 hour drive to the nearest hospital in -30C winters loves having cars that doesn’t start in the cold and runs out of power quicker depending on how cold it is. 😆👍🐟

I drive 280km per day in Norway. At that distance, a full-electric is a nightmare in winter. Had one for exactly 3 months in winter and changed to a hybrid.
