Russia’s actions, such as the Yantar spy ship’s presence in U.K. waters and sabotage in the Baltic Sea, reflect an ongoing strategy to undermine Western security through hybrid warfare. These incidents target critical infrastructure, posing serious risks to economic and national stability. The U.K.’s strong response and NATO’s increased patrols emphasize the importance of coordinated efforts to defend against these provocations and safeguard essential systems.

Navy person here, these ships are pretty common sights when on deployment in the Baltic/ med. We usually joke about them being a part of the formation as they’ll shadow your formation for days and sometimes loiter outside of port when ships are in dock for a couple days.
