Hallo Leute.

      Which provider?

Look for a provider that still allows you to cancel effective by end of the month as with most providers it will already be too late to cancel for february.

    2. Usually there is no reduction in price when you buy it later during the month, so I don’t know how their business model would work since I don’t see how they would acquire a legit ticket for less than the sticker price.

I personally wouldn’t risk it, unless this is an aspect of the ticket I’m totally not aware of, but it seems very fishy to me.

The HVV Switch App also allows you to only pay for the remainder of the month, and thats the official app for the public transport of Hamburg. However, keep in mind that this will automatically make you buy a full-prized 58€-Ticket for the next month.

    4. There is actually another provider who does this, HVV in Hamburg via the HVV switch app, I use it like this all the time. Keep in mind, that when you book the „discounted“ ticket after the 10th of a month, you cannot cancel it for the next month.
Example: I have some traveling to do from the 16th of January onward into February. I got the ticket on the 16th and paid 30-ish euros. But I am still locked in the contract for the whole February for 58 euros.

    5. I once wanted to buy Deutschland ticket for like 3 days from one month and the next month. I bought it from an app called HVV Switch (I think it’s the provider for Hannover) and I payed 49 € for the second month and something like 7 € for the first few days. I was so happy about that haha
But the only payment method that worked was PayPal

    6. Is there a way to get a physical card? I’m always worried about my phone battery dying mid-trip
