yes. the main road turns left, so you’re „turning“ off the road.

Yes, you have to use your front turn signal

And if you don’t, the junction will be very very mad 😡

Yes. Right after the first turn.

Yes, off course. To the right.

technically, yes, but realistically… I’m not sure.
Theory says: by going ’straight‘ you are leaving the main road to it’s right side thus you use your right indicator.
Common sense says: you are going straight so indicating right could make people coming from the right think you are turning off and therefore not crossing their path meaning they might not slow down for you.
Personally as an avid indicator user I think I would approach the junction slowly and „turn off“ without indicating or starting to indicate when I pass the first turn to the actual right.

Oh this one is controversial, i’ve done this and almost had an accident.
There was someone on my **right** , saw me **signal right** to go **straight**, he presumed i wanted to turn **right**
And he went ahead and and drove in front of me, thinking i’d just go right instead of straight ahead.
Had to brake, was a classic case of miscommunication on the road.
Saw someone suggest signaling left, but i doubt its a legit safe solution.

Yes you’re supposed to signal if you’re going to one of the eyes of the angry man

The amount of people saying that you need to signal when going straight is alarming.
The „fat curve“ only gives you right of way and has nothing to do with using turn signals. If you go straight you don’t use any signal. If you turn left, you use left indicator. If you turn right, you use right indicator.

yes, you are leaving the main road.
there is not harm in using a blinker for this. (don’t tell the BMW drivers)

I’ve learned to do so, yes. But I’m 38, so it’s been a while. Maybe it has changed since then. I do see a lot of people not using their turn signal in this situation, though. Doesn’t bother me.

A roundabout would solve this type of nonsense. But wait, wrong country..

You should turn the sign 45° counterclockwise and look what the sign says.
Sign is mad.
