  1. When I arrived to Cyprus, I decided to go to the supermarket. By bus. At Sunday. I walked from Neapoli to Ypsonas by Makariou/Pafou (I wasn’t very good at Limassol navigation by then) and got zero buses.

That was the last time I though about bus in Cyprus. Also, I live 5 km from my work, and there are zero routes between those streets.

So, „we don’t do that here“.

i’m half cypriot and have been going to cyprus almost every summer to visit family. when my british relatives visited last year for my brother’s wedding a few of them were asking about buses to get around and i genuinely had no idea what to tell them. 😂😂

  3. I have just tried Google maps to see directions in Limassol and there are no buses! Is it really true there are no buses in Cyprus

  4. Surely someone’s missing a trick here… No busses…busses needed..🫰🏻💶💶

The joke is that Cypriot society is so extremely segregated between locals and migrants that locals have no idea that most buses (at least in Nicosia) are crowded and very well used.
