Hallo! Ich bin ein Amerikaner, der diesen Dienstag nach Deutschland reist, um meine beste/Schwester/frühere Austauschschülerin zu besuchen. Da gerade Weihnachten war und sie im Januar Geburtstag hat, kaufte ich ein paar amerikanische Snacks (hauptsächlich Junk Food) oder Dinge, die sie sich gewünscht hatte, wusste aber nicht, ob diese mitgenommen werden würden. Von mir beim Zoll, da gibt es eine Menge – ich bin mir jedoch zumindest ziemlich sicher, dass es sich bei keinem davon aufgrund ähnlicher Zutaten oder Ähnlichem um verbotene Artikel handelt.
Irgendwelche Ratschläge? Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wie der Zoll ablaufen wird, wenn ich am Flughafen in Frankfurt lande und möchte vorbereitet sein. Zur Veranschaulichung: Dies ist ein mittelgroßer Koffer (also kein großer Koffer oder ein Handgepäckkoffer).

Won’t be a problem. I take that stuff back all the time. Also, you may want to take just the cheese packets for the mac n cheese. You can get the noodles anywhere.

No idea tbh… but is it even worth the trouble? Certain varieties may be hard to find here but you can get reese’s, poptarts, oreos etc on Amazon in Germany and I’ve seen poptarts, oreos, and sour patches at our store. I’d compare some prices beforehand.

Seriously: If you saw my 23 kg bag last year filled to the brim with custard creams, bisto gravy and all sorts of British food. No one batted an eye. You’ll be fine. 🙂
Is this your checked bag or are you checking two bags? I’m asking because most airlines only allow you to bring one checked bag for free and second bags can be $100 or more unless you’re flying business or first class. Don’t want you to be surprised when checking your bags. That’s why I borrowed my SIL’s expandable 26″ suitcase and went over to Germany with it half full because I knew I was going to bring back lots of paprika chips and schokolade!

The mac and cheese could raise suspicion for being a dairy product and might be confiscated and destroyed.
The other stuff however should be fine.
