Because we are uncultured, rude and incosiderate of each other and the environment we live in. We grow up on street values which say that taking out your own teash and not littering around ‚texavs‘. It’s a very heavily ingrained bad habit that cannot be untaught so easily. Every day that I observe our society I see that we as a nation do not deserve anything. People that are most vocal and advocate for improvement do deserve a lot, but the majority of our population is too close minded and near sighted to see the effect their actions have. It’s simple acts like this that shows how far off we are in terms of overal cultural development.
