    1. You give it to the cashier when you make a purchase at one of the participating train stations or partners that accept it. You can only use one per purchase and the purchase must be at least 2.50 euros

You put it into your wallet so you can use it next time and a year later you throw it into the rubbish bin, along with the other six you have added to the stack in the meantime.

You stick it to your forehead and walk in front of cashier. They will scan and deduct the amount from your purchases.

You use it to buy something worth 1€ for 5€ just because you will save 0.5€, or just don’t use it unless you were definitely going to shop in the hauptbahnhof anyway

honestly, i mean this in no way degrading, but it shows how absolutely fucking worthless these things are, that NOT EVEN the homeless people wandering around train stations want them. you can literally find 20 of these on top of the entrance things at the toilets. which is where i also put them.

    6. The golden rule for Autobahn-Raststätte: pee, eat, repeat.

Keep it and spent it on your next purchase.

    7. You don’t. You put it in your wallet and about 12 months later you will sit at a wobbly table and you take it out of your wallet, fold it into a tiny square and use it to support one of the wobbly table legs.

    8. You can use it to buy some stuff for at least 2.50€ at a participating store and get a 0.50€ discount only to find out that you could have bought that same item(s) somewhere else for the same or less money.
