      Intro Dialogue

Uncle (referring to her mother’s brother)
      Say, dear Macarena,
I would really like to be an ambassador.

      Macarena:
You will be, after the elections, dear Macarena.

      Verse 1

      My diplomatic name is Macarena,
And everyone knows I’m a really strong woman.
I don’t dig (as in cultivating land), I don’t sew,
I drink condensed juice in a cocktail.
And I nod with my head,
Because that’s the only task I have.

      Chorus 1

My dear wife/woman is named Macarena,
Her translator is taking her for walks,
For the children, the babysitter and grandma care.
      Heeey Macarena.

      Verse 2

      Caviar likes my wife/woman Macarena,
In the bean stew when her cook puts it.
That is actually her brother’s wife.
      Heeey Macarena.

      Chorus 2

      People ask for everything,
They don’t know how to stop.

Dialogue between the ambassador and a woman

      Woman 1:
      What does she want now?

      Woman 2:
Can I get a visa, miss?

      Woman 1:
Why are you coming here? Go to Bosnia, what’s wrong there? Where is your parrot passport?

      Verse 3

      When my dear wife/woman Macarena
Walks with a hat, like a satellite dish,
She makes disturbances on the CNN channel.
      Heeey Macarena.

      Verse 4

      My wife/woman Macarena loves music,
She gets allergies from Bach and Chopin,
From the CD, Dragana and Brena are singing (Dragana Mirkovic and Lepa Brena).
      Heeey Macarena.

      Dialogue with the Butler

      Butler:
      Yes, miss?

      Macarena:
Oh, how I love this music. Listen, a kid will come and knock on the embassy door, you know. Welcome him nicely, that’s my nephew.

      Butler:
      Let me just say, miss…

      Macarena:
Wait, wait, let me tell you. Make him the first secretary of the embassy.

      Butler:
Oh, but we don’t have that much space, miss.

      Macarena:
Well, just put him to sleep between your nephew and my niece.

      Butler:
      Alright.

      Verse 1

      Chorus 1

      Verse 2

      Verse 3

      Verse 4

These aren’t actually verses and choruses, I told ChatGPT to just format my text and he put it bc I don’t have any more time.

This song seems like it’s mocking the authorities of Bosnia for nepotism and corruption. Here Macarena, the ambassador, is a woman who doesn’t know anything about politics or authority became an ambassador just by asking her uncle. That is actually a real thing that happens here in Bosnia. People that are educated can’t get jobs here just because their relatives aren’t in the politic scene or function, but those woh sre uneducated but have relatives, can.

      Hopw this helps!
