Ich baue ein Bücherregal um meine Heizung herum, da ich in einem kleinen Studio mit begrenztem Platz wohne und die Wand zu dünn ist, um Regale in die Wand einzubauen. Aber heute, während ich lerne und abgelenkt bin, frage ich mich, ob das eines Tages Feuer fangen könnte, obwohl es schon seit einem Jahr hier ist.
Das ganze Jahr über hatte ich auch einige Magnete mit Bildern und Zeichnungen an der Heizung hängen, aber heute begann ich daran zu zweifeln, also entfernte ich sie.
Ich habe nachgeschaut und normalerweise erreicht eine solche Heizung nicht mehr als 75°C, was weit unter der Zündtemperatur liegt
Aber was meint ihr???? Ich denke, ich werde dieses Jahr eines umbauen und oben mehr Freiraum von etwa 20 cm lassen, jetzt sind es 8 cm

Ontopic, een chauffage wordt echt nooit warm genoeg om papier te ontbranden. It’s fine. Uw boeken gaan wel lekker warm worden.

Looks like a standard hot water radiator, right? In that case I would not worry about fire. It will reduce the efficiency of your radiator though, so this solution costs you some money every month 🙂
Just make sure you keep a jerrycan of gasoline next to you. That way you can pour it on the radiator when it gets too hot too cool it down a bit, good luck!
No it isn’t, at worst most of the heat will be absorbed by your books rather and transmitted into the room

Not exactly a fire hazard, but just highly inefficient heating: you are effectively isolating the radiator from your room here.
A radiator doesn’t get 451 Fahrenheit hot, so no.
That glass on the edge of the table is a bigger hazard. The shelf will probably block some heat but won’t catch fire.
No it is not a fire hazard. The radiator at 65°C is nearly not hot enough to burn paper (>230°C) or wood (>300°C).
